He Hawaii au Tee

"He Hawaiʻi au" means "I am Hawaiian," but thatʻs not all this shirt says. 

• The message on the back of the shirt gives the viewer the experience of seeing the wearer from both sides. It says, "the person in the shirt is Hawaiian through and through."
• The surrounding black symbolizes that "we come from Pō and to Pō we will return."
• "I am Hawaiian" is written in molten lava as an homage to Pele; it signifies hulihia (a transformation). 
• The overall message is that "I am not only a Hawaiian. As a Hawaiian, I  AM Hawaii."
